:Maternity: Meet Patricia & James

Patricia and James are such a great couple with tons of personality and love for each other. Their openness to our ideas made them a pleasure to photograph and their personalities made it such a fun time. They ended up using the images from this shoot as "thank you" cards for their baby shower. The couple opted to not find out the sex of their baby, so it will be a true surprise when she/he finally arrives. ^.^ At the time of this post, Patricia is officially "full term" and can have the baby at any moment. Michael and I wish the parents-to-be nothing but good wishes.

:Personal: Some much-needed warmth in the middle of this chilly Winter

Some photos from our time in Puerto Rico!
I used to live 15 minutes from this beach and of course as most people who live by the beach, I didn't go that often. Oh, how I would kill to live that close to a beautiful beach now!! I am writing this, there is still snow from last week's blizzard outside... =(

The prerequisite palm tree shot- check! Looking at this photo reminds me... I totally forgot how humid it is in Puerto Rico!! Everyday was a bad hair day for me....grr

I love miniature anything as I have mentioned on a previous post, so when I saw this cute baby coconut I couldn't resist asking Michael for a picture.

We took some time off from family to do some touristy stuff and went to the historic fort, El Morro.

Michael, the model inside the fort.

Michael and I are huuuge beer enthusiasts, so we were thrilled to find a microbrewery right in the middle of San Juan.... well, also partly because it was so darn hot ouside!

Ahhh... refreshing!

This photo was taken at the dry forest in Guanica. We drove 1.5 hours to one of the southern tips of the island to enjoy some cactus and the beautiful coast just to find out that the forest was closed due to flooding (!! Why wasn't that mentioned on their website!?) But being the optimists we are, we still managed to find some lovely spots to photograph. ^.^

One last one from Guanica... Bye Puerto Rico!
