Personal- Day trip by the Countryside
If you follow me on my fb page, you know that this past Saturday was my first free day in what seems like ages. During this time, I wanted to relax a little by doing something I haven’t gotten to do because of my busy schedule. Michael and I put our walking shoes on and summoned our adventurous spirits for a day trip to the country side of Hunterdon County New Jersey equipped with our cameras. Our initial plan was to visit an apple picking farm (I love anything pick your own) but as plans have a tendency of not working out, we got there to see the sign in front of the gates reading “closed for the rest of the season”, which by the way was completely opposed to what their website stated! So disappointed but not beaten, we drove around some more trying to find some way to salvage our afternoon. That is how we ended up hanging out at an ancient cemetery with ironically beautiful fall foliage and trespassed into some kind neighbor’s property for some photos in their corn field. The afternoon was filled with ups and downs, but totally random and in the end a perfectly fitting way for us to spend our day off. Here are some of the photos from Saturday!

This is an ancient cemetery and church that we found while driving around. The building was pretty uninteresting but the grounds had really beautiful vibrant maple trees, so we had to stop by for a bit!
Me just having fun.. did not feel creepy at all but we just stuck by the trees. hehe
This photo reminds me of my early photography days. I used to go around everyday looking for pretty nature stuff to photograph so it felt nice to go back to my roots. ^.^
hehe That's his shooting pose. You do not want to see mine. I look silly!
Beautiful corn field...
...the corn was the greatest quality for eating, but I love the different colors and textures of this corn. Makes for a great photo and that's what I'm all about! Hope everybody has a great week!

Engaged- Meet Clara and Bill
It was cold and cloudy the day Michael and I met up with Clara and Bill for our afternoon in Central Park. However, the weather didn’t dampen their enthusiasm one bit, in fact it was almost as if nothing else mattered or existed as long as they were together. No, really! They were all over each other the whole time and I almost felt bad breaking them apart after each shot. Here are some of my favorites from that session. Congrats to Clara and Bill!

I am ending the post with this image just because it's just so them... ^0^

Wedding captured- Nicole and Jon
As I stood with Jon by the grassy fields waiting for his bride-to-be to approach for their first look, he explained how he and Nicole first met. It was like a story from a romance novel. They first met in the 4th grade and what began as a childhood crush blossomed into a courtship that began in high school and has lasted 8 years. Today Nicole and Jon will bring an end to this chapter and embark on a new journey together as husband and wife. I was super excited to be a part of their love story and wish them nothing but the best. Thanks to Inku for giving me this opportunity. It was a pleasure to assist my friend and fellow photographer.
